LYNDHURST, NJ (September 21, 2011) Elin Nyman scored two goals, but it was not enough, as the Eagles were defeated by Felician Wednesday night.
Nyman got the Eagles out to a great start with a goal at 13:24 on a rebound off her own shot. The lead would not last long as JoJo Pisani added a score for Felician just over seven minutes later, to send the game into the half tied 1-1.
Felician broke the tie at 65:20 on an Emily Gleason goal and got some insurance three minutes later from Stephanie Jimenez.
Nyman scored her second at 88:53 on a lead pass from Sara Cramer to pull the Eagles within one, but it was too late, as they fell 3-2. The two goals tonight give Nyman three on the season in only two games played.
Renel Dennis and Brina Yanez added three and two shots, respectively. Grace McConnell chipped in the eight saves.
Chestnut Hill will be visiting Municipal Stadium this Saturday to take on the Eagles.
